PARADE OF HOMES 2021 BLUE RIBBON WINNERS ANNOUNCED
BINGHAM FARMS, Michigan – June 9, 2021 – Parade of Homes 2021, the 32nd annual exhibition of new model homes located across southeastern Michigan, opened on June 1 and runs throughout the month. Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan (HBA), Lake Michigan Credit Union and James Hardie Building Products sponsor this free event.
As part of the Parade of Homes program, architects and industry experts judge the homes and award blue ribbons in several categories. The judges make their decisions based on a combination of factors including innovation, aesthetic appeal and value for the price. Judges for this year’s program were Lonny S. Zimmerman, AIA, NCARB of Siegal/Tuomaala Associates; Benedetto Tiseo, FAIA, NCARB of Tiseo Architects, Inc.; Michael J. Gordon, RA of Moiseev/Gordon Associates and Marty Peltier, Chief Business Development Officer of Lake Michigan Credit Union.

The blue ribbon winning homes are:
- Homes priced under $325,000 – Cedar by Robertson Homes
- Homes priced over $325,000 to $420,000 – Upton by Singh Homes, LLC
- Homes priced over $420,000 to $500,000 – The Pinehurst II by Silverado Homes
- Homes priced over $500,000 to $600,000 – Silverleaf IV by Healy Homes
- Homes priced over $600,000 to $800,000 – Edinburgh by MJC Companies
- Homes priced over $800,000 to $1 Million – Waltham Craftsman by Toll Brothers
- Homes priced over $1,000,000 – Terra by Cambridge Homes
Included in the Parade of Homes are condominiums and single-family homes, affordable housing and estatesized homes. The program provides an opportunity to see the latest trends in energy efficiency and green building, architecture, interior design, amenities and materials. The 38 model, under construction and preconstruction homes and condominiums range in base price from the mid-$200,000s to over $1 million.
The homes are built by 16 different builders, all members of HBA. The Parade of Homes includes 6 attached condominiums and 5 detached condominiums. Three of the homes are under construction or pre-construction, so potential home buyers have the opportunity to work with the builder from the beginning of construction. Homes are located in 34 different communities.
The homes are featured in a free magazine available at Lake Michigan Credit Union branches and at each of the model homes. The Parade of Homes website features the Blue Ribbon winning homes and all the 2021 Parade of Homes models, including photos, features, pricing, location and hours.
